Position

It is easier to push by raising when you are in late position. That is when you have the most information. You would know how the other players in early and middle position are playing and its less risky to call during that position. You have to be more cautious during early position because if you just limp in someone will raise and you will forfeit the funds. Watch your position and see if its an opportune time to push.
